Biography

Yesnela Rodriguez, who goes by Yessi, is an Associate Attorney at DiMaggio Law Offices and handles all family law and divorce matters including paternity, premarital agreements, domestic violence, enforcement, contempt, restraining orders, and post-judgment modifications. Yessi was born in Caracas, Venezuela and was raised in Weston, Florida. Yessi graduated University of Central Florida (UCF), where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies with a minor in Hospitality. Driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, Yessi went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Board Law Center where she graduated Magma Cum Laude. During her time at Nova Southeastern University, Yessi earned several academic awards and recognitions, held various leadership roles in student organizations, including President of the Family Law Society, and served as an intern in the Children and Families Law Clinic where she immersed herself in and developed a passion for the study of family law. Yessi has a deep understanding of the intricacies of divorce, child custody, and other sensitive matters that profoundly impact individuals and families, and has been advocating for others since she gained admission to the Florida Bar in December 2020.
